Simple Definition:

The World Wide Web (WWW) is a system of interconnected documents and resources [information and content] that can be accessed through the internet. It allows users to navigate between web pages [individual documents on the web] using hyperlinks [links that connect one web page to another]. For example, when you visit a website like www.example.com [a specific web address], you can click on different links to open other web pages [documents] within that site or on other websites.

Very Simple Definition:

The World Wide Web (WWW) is a bunch of websites [pages on the internet] that you can look at by using a computer or mobile device. When you’re on a website, you can click on links to see other pages.
For example, you can use www.google.com to search for things that are a part of the World Wide Web.
