Pedagogy is the science and art of teaching [explaining knowledge and skills to others]. It involves the methods, strategies, and principles used by teachers [people who instruct others] to facilitate [make easier] learning.

For example, in a classroom, a teacher may use different pedagogical approaches [methods of teaching] such as lectures [oral presentations], interactive discussions [conversations between the teacher and students], or hands-on activities [practical experiences] to engage students [people who are being taught] and help them understand and apply the subject matter.

Very Simple Definition:

Pedagogy is the way teachers teach [show and explain things] and help students learn [understand and remember things].

For example, a teacher may talk about a topic, ask questions, or give students things to do to learn and remember the subject.
