Simple Definition:

Incontinence is a condition where a person is unable to control their bladder or bowels [the part of the body where waste is stored before it is eliminated]. This can result in involuntary leakage of urine or feces [solid waste from the body]. For example, a person with incontinence may experience urine leakage when they cough or sneeze, or they may have difficulty controlling their bowel movements.

Very Simple Definition:

Incontinence is when a person cannot control their pee or poop. This means that sometimes they accidentally let out urine or feces without meaning to. For example, they may pee a little when they cough or sneeze, or have trouble holding in their poop.
