Simple Definition:

Salvation in the Bible is the act of being saved from sin [immoral actions] and its consequences [the bad things that happen because of sin]. It is a belief in Christianity that through faith in Jesus Christ, one can have eternal life in heaven [a place where good people go after they die]. For example, when a person accepts Jesus as their savior and repents [feels sorry and decides to change] of their sins, they can experience salvation.

Very Simple Definition:

Salvation in the Bible means being saved from sin. It is a belief in Christianity that Jesus saves people from their bad actions. For example, when someone says sorry for doing something wrong and believes in Jesus, they can be saved.
